Aura’s story…
Aura’s health journey began in 2002, inspired by her most influential teachers—children with special needs.
After earning her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science, Aura worked at a preschool for children with autism, a residential summer camp for children with special needs, and as a caretaker and nanny. Through these experiences, she discovered that all behavior is a form of communication—often rooted in sensory or nutritional challenges.
This insight led Aura beyond traditional speech therapy to study neurodevelopment with The HANDLE Institute, and ultimately to earn her master’s degree in Integrative Clinical Nutrition.
Since 2018, Aura has worked closely with the providers and families at Living Water Pediatrics, offering emotional support and nutritional guidance at every stage of a child’s development. She takes a food-first approach to healing, supporting growth, sensitivities, and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Aura enjoys turning food into art, finding calm in nature, and embracing the joyful chaos of life with her toddler.
